Animals And Their Babies

Students will gain an understanding of the differences and likenesses between animals and their babies. They will have an opportunity to learn about the differences in birth and care of the babies. They will also gain an understanding of the different names given to the animal babies in each species. The students will have an opportunity to “get their feet wet” in research by reading and viewing books, magazines and related internet sites on the unit topic.
