The Internet is an amazing tool as regards sharing information, but that is not teaching.
As one student succinctly summed this up, “The need to know the capital of Florida died when my phone learned the answer.”
So, what should we be teaching our students?
The answer is: TO THINK!

Teach Kids About Money
It is difficult to focus teaching efforts, because there is an endless list of things kids need to know and to learn. One thing that kids don’t learn early enough is about money and budget and credit and savings and investments, and matters around these issues. Most people don’t adequately teach their kids about this, and even as kids grow up, they don’t really learn about it until they are deeply in debt and they have to dig themselves out and rebuilt their credit and then they get on the ball. But by then, many years are wasted. So, what should we be teaching kids? Lets help them with money matters. That will carry a lot of weight.
Concientious Citizens
I think that our job is to teach our students how to become concientious citizens and stewards of the earth.
