EdWorld Community's New Homepage

Greetings EdWorld Community educators! You might've noticed some changes to our homepage recently. We've done some improvements to help share what's hot with you, while making it easier for you to share and connect with others on the Community.

Our homepage is now made up of four separate squares that will help encourage better connectivity between educators. They feature the best of what's on our Groups, Resources, Forums and Blogs pages. They also allow you to easily access other groups of educators, share your thoughts in blog posts and forum discussions, and provide peers with your resources and lesson plans.

Don't want to read through a bunch of links to find something interesting? Click right through to stimulating discussion topics right when you get to the Community.

Instantly access some of our favorite older topics or dive right into the latest dialogues on the evolving world of education, from policy to technology, with other teachers, administrators and more!

Joining a group is an excellent way to make new contacts and to find about free resources, news, and to have great conversations.

The Groups page has categories that are separated by topic, making it convenient for educators to find their specific area of interest.

After selecting a category, you'll see all of its groups. Here, you can select a group and see its page. Since I'm already a member of Primary Grades, I'm prompted to unjoin this group if desired, where non-members are regularly given the option to join.

Sharing a resource or lesson plan is now a breeze.

To upload a resource, click the middle green button at the top of the page that prompts you to do so.

Sharing a lesson plan is just as easy!

To upload a lesson plan, click the right side green button at the top of the page that prompts you to do so.

Post your own discussion topics on our Forums page in a snap.

Simply select to post a new topic at the top of the page.

Include images and hyperlinks to source information to spice up you post. Remember to make you topic title eye-catching!

Are you thinking about getting into blogging or are you already on board with it? If you want to showoff your writing, than share it with our welcoming and enthusiastic Community of educators and involved parties.

Simply create a post by clicking the button on the top of the page that prompts you to do so.

Then you can share your voice with the Community, and the world!
