You might hear a lot about online e-learning services (Tutor.com, Tutorvista.com, Eduboard.com, Tutorhub.com, etc.), but did you ever think about the quality of e-learning? Is it possible to teach efficiently online? And is it possible to gain high-quality knowledges and to be well educated online? Don't you think, that e-learning education is moving fast and in the future it will be on the first plan?

Valid point. I use my site to flip the class, and use class time for the improvements I can make in face to face classtime, rather than the old music classroom stuff best learned at student's own pace anyway... No insult intended for the advertising of very profitable 'learning modules' that are un-employing music teachers everywhere, but if I go to a music class and see kids on a computer screen during classtime, instead of making sound, talking and planning performances, I know something is wrong!

Spaced Learning Platforms.
I am pretty sure that all of us will enjoy watching and hearing “Va Pensiero –Nabbuco” on YouTube however, I believe that we all agree that our experience would not compare to the impact it would have caused at the live event in the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma in March 21 of 2011.
Regarding education, while we can create great virtual experiences by using high quality content with e-learning platforms, it would also not compare to the impact of the high quality content being used in a face-to-face environment.

Hi! I've been a volunteer teacher at Yale's Science Education Outreach Program (SEOP) and in teaching science, I believe traditional teaching is still the best way to get children interested in the subject. I've also taken online classes before and I didn't really enjoy them that much. I think it also helps that in traditional teaching, there's actual social interaction which keeps the kids interested and focused.

Before revealing my point of view I just want to introduce myself, I am from Pakistan and I've been teaching Physics to grades 10-12 for seven years. Here we do not have alot of technology related facilities so what I usually do to make my lectures interactive is I usually download animations and video clips mostly from youtube and during lecture on multimedia I share those stuff with my class, you may say I aid my lecture with this kind of things.
Here your question is whether e-learning is beneficial or not, for this I must say that till K-12 a child/student needs some formal interactive learning environment that can not be created alone by e-learning.
Till high school (k-12) this technology stuff should be integrated in the classroom for a better teaching learning process.
