Hi,
I am a first-year student at the College of Wooster. Me and 2 fellow students are required to make a project based on a book of our choice ("Disrupting Class" by Clayton M. Christensen), and for this project we decided to make a small forum for discussion of this book or other teaching strategies. Our biggest problem is that we have no clue how to get our forum popularity, so I am asking members of this forum if they would take 5 minutes to look at it. If you do and feel you can post something, please do. We need to get outside members to get a good grade overall on the project. I will provide a link below.

Thank you for your time!

First of all, great idea!
First of all,
great idea! Of course, there is very much competition on the web, i. e. many other forums about education and in order to be competitive it is necessary to stand out. Here are my thoughts on the website:
What I thought when I saw the website was "Hum, the title "disruptive innovation" and the design of the site do not go together. Your design is very much like many forums on the web - but if your forum is really "disruptive and innovative" then this should definitely show in the design - of course I am aware that your college might not support sites which look too different from their design or that you might not have the knowledge to create a fully individual forum - but you could for example change the font or size of the letters or the background color.
Another thing I would add in your forum is content threads, i. e. threads which are designed for a specific topic or problem. Think about everything you want to do with the website: discussion, help, a bit of entertainment, community, event organization etc... these are some ways of getting popularity und UNIQUENESS.
you might get some inspiration when you check out shopping websites like Chrono24 which also sell a very specific product to a specific audience - it might help you.
Good luck!
